About Me
A professional snapshot of how I work, what I value, and what I bring to engineering teams.
My Professional Identity
I see myself as an engineer who brings both technical discipline and day-to-day dependability to the workplace. I enjoy supporting design development, improving layouts, reviewing systems for manufacturability, and helping teams move projects forward with accuracy and consistency.
My Working Style
I work best when I can combine attention to detail with collaboration. I am comfortable learning from experienced professionals, taking initiative where needed, and contributing to an environment where quality, efficiency, and clear communication matter.
Professional Experience
My journey through design support, production coordination, and hands-on mechanical work.
In this role, I support engineers in creating and refining CAD drawings and mechanical layouts using AutoCAD and SolidWorks. I work closely with production teams to review designs for manufacturability, efficiency, and overall practicality. My work also involves participating in inspections, identifying opportunities for minor design improvements, and helping ensure that project specifications are met across the design-to-production process.
- I assist with drafting and design updates that help engineering concepts move into production more smoothly.
- I support quality checks on fabricated components to help maintain accuracy and consistency.
- I collaborate with technicians and engineers to keep communication aligned between design intent and shop-floor execution.
- I contribute to workflow improvements by helping identify adjustments that reduce waste and improve turnaround time.
During this internship, I worked under senior engineers and gained hands-on exposure to industrial mechanical systems. I supported technical drawing preparation, equipment inspections, and basic troubleshooting tasks. I also helped collect and organize machine-performance data and maintenance information, which gave me a stronger understanding of how engineering, operations, and safety standards come together in practice.
- I contributed to technical documentation and helped maintain organized project information.
- I observed and supported real troubleshooting processes, which strengthened my practical problem-solving ability.
- I learned how safety expectations and engineering standards shape day-to-day work in industrial environments.
In this position, I built a practical foundation in fabrication support and workshop operations. I assisted with equipment setup, helped maintain tools and organized work areas, and supported small design modifications under supervision. This role strengthened my awareness of materials handling, machining processes, and the importance of precision and safety in hands-on work.
- I supported daily workshop activities that required consistency, attention to detail, and reliability.
- I learned how proper organization and equipment readiness contribute directly to efficiency and safety.
- I gained valuable exposure to the practical side of manufacturing and component handling.
Project Experience
Examples of how I apply engineering principles through analysis, design, and presentation.
Mechanical Design Project – Lifting System
I designed a basic mechanical lifting device using SolidWorks, performed load calculations and safety-factor analysis, and created detailed drawings to communicate the design approach clearly. This project strengthened my understanding of design logic, structural thinking, and the importance of balancing performance with safety.
Thermal System Analysis Project
I conducted an analysis of heat-transfer efficiency in a closed system and used engineering principles to identify areas for improvement. I presented my findings in a structured technical report, which helped me grow my confidence in both analytical reasoning and technical communication.
